Where does the tracking data come from — do I need to install hardware?+
No hardware to start. Your drivers install the NaviTruck app and join your fleet with a code — the phone becomes the GPS tracker, with offline maps and store-and-forward telemetry built in. For trucks where fuel theft or downtime hurts most, you can add wired CAN-bus hardware later for sensor-grade fuel, RPM and engine data.
What is free, and what does the trial include?+
The truck-safe route planner is free — no card. Live tracking, driver connections, dispatch and alerts start with a 7-day free trial (card required, nothing charged for 7 days), then $19 per truck per month or $149 per year (EU buyers pay in EUR), cancel anytime. What happens when my trial ends?+
Your data stays safe, but the dashboard locks until you subscribe — from $19/vehicle/month or $149/vehicle/year. Pick up exactly where you left off.
What counts as a vehicle?+
One seat covers one tracked vehicle and its driver. You choose how many seats you need at checkout and can add more as your fleet grows — billing is handled per seat by Paddle.
What phones do drivers need? Will it drain their battery?+
Any recent iPhone or Android. The NaviTruck app is built for all-day professional driving: navigation and tracking run with optimized background location, and offline maps mean no data plan surprises.
Who owns the data?+
You do. Trip history, driver scores and reports belong to your fleet — export them anytime (CSV) or ask us to delete everything. Infrastructure is hosted in the EU.
How do drivers feel about being tracked?+
Drivers get real value too: truck-safe navigation that avoids low bridges and fines, and a safety score that documents their good driving — useful evidence with insurers and in incident disputes.
How do I cancel?+
Self-serve, anytime, from Settings → Manage subscription. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period and doesn’t renew. No calls, no retention scripts.
